PRESS RELEASE
Francesco Lombardo, sole director of Marche-based company Castellino, known worldwide for its specialty products preserved in oil, will receive the “Marchigiani of the Year” award on Thursday, May 30th, in Rome at the Senate of the Republic. The award was established in 1986 by the then-president of Cesma (Centro Studi Marche “G. Giunchi”), Armando Mazzoni, and is given annually to individuals from the Marche region who have distinguished themselves in professional, scientific, social, artistic, and cultural fields.
“With great emotion and deep gratitude,” says Francesco Lombardo, “I accept the prestigious ‘Marchigiani of the Year’ award, now in its 38th edition. This recognition is not only a personal honor but also a tribute to the work and dedication of everyone who is part of the Castellino family.”
“Our company, rooted in the beautiful Marche region, has grown thanks to the commitment and passion of an extraordinary team, primarily women, but also men, who dedicate themselves every day with love to enhancing the products of our territory.”
“This award,” Lombardo continues, “is a recognition of our continuous effort to look beyond, to innovate without ever forgetting the history and origins that have made us what we are today.”
“I want to sincerely thank all the collaborators, partners, and customers who have supported us on this growth journey. I dedicate this award to all those who believe in our project, and especially to my family, for their unconditional support and for sharing with me every small revolution carried out with courage and respect for the dignity of workers and their families, for environmental sustainability, and for a business ethic deeply rooted in our culture of belonging.”
